You should limit the amount of time you spend outside in the midday sun as this is when UV rays are at their strongest (between 10am and 4pm). Remember, if you have a short shadow, seek shade!

Wear sunscreen that offers a SPF of 15 or higher and re-apply every couple of hours and after swimming and washing.
