A Vintage Aesthetic for a Veranda installation in Whitstable, with bespoke design detail to suit the historic seaside town and installed by our established Trade Partner SBI Limited
Whitstable is a quaint seaside resort in the classic British fashion. Desirable and popular, it’s a town that has long been associated with a relaxing and laid-back lifestyle. With the sea air blowing across the town, enjoying the outdoors is key for Whitstable’s residents. A recent Milwood Group veranda installation has allowed one homeowner in the town to bring the outside indoors.
This installation of our popular Simplicity 6 veranda system saw the use of our Victorian Upgrade package, a great aesthetic match for the historic seaside town. The Victorian Upgrade is one of our more popular upgrades and brings an additional level of class to the visual presentation.
The installers, SBI Limited, are one of our most well-established Trade Partners, having worked with us for many years and always provide fantastic results for their customers.
The home in question has a set of white patio doors to the rear of the house and the customer wanted to complement these with a veranda in order to extend their useable living space into their private garden area. The newly sheltered patio provides a lovely area for year-round use, with the veranda keeping the elements at bay such as sudden downpours.
The white window frames and patio doors matched nicely with our RAL 9016 White powder-coat to prevent any clashing. Combined with 6mm Clear Glass to the roof panels the veranda will look incredible all year round, bringing a warm feel to the winter months and a brighter look in the sunnier periods.
The results on this project look fantastic, the Victorian Upgrade really sets the finish off in the environment. This project is a great example of how a veranda can not only bring benefits to any home but remain aesthetically pleasing to the property and its surrounds as a whole.
