Dynamic Double Veranda and Walkway Canopy Installation at domestic home Cork, Ireland, installed by our Trade Partner Roofit

These recent case study in Cork, Ireland, is testament to that with our Trade Partners at Roofit completing the installation of a Sim 6 veranda in the rear garden, and a Sim 16 canopy that covers the side passageway. The homeowner can now enjoy the magnificent views free from the elements and stay dry while taking out the bins.
Roofit are responsible for a lot of our recent projects in Ireland, installing some wonderful solutions to many happy homeowners across the Irish Sea.
From the side elevation of the property, the Simplicity 16 canopy covers one of the main access points and extends to the perimeter fencing of the garden with a projection of 1.045m. The front posts on this system are 70mm x 70mm wide to create adequate support. As the walkway extends to the corner, the homeowner can now use it for outdoor storage and to walk around the house without being concerned about the weather.
Located above sliding patio doors leading out to a shiny patio, the Simplicity 6 veranda install is surrounded by lovely scenery. Here, the front posts are 100mm x 70mm for sufficient support. A delightful outdoor sofa has been installed on the veranda space, allowing the homeowners to enjoy the fantastic views and the best of Irish weather as they enjoy a hot drink.
The systems both use of 40mm internal downpipe to conceal the drainage within the supporting legs, the water is effectively channelled away and deposited into a safe and convenient location. The legs of the walkway are inset by a total of 430mm on each side creating a cantilever on each end, while the veranda installation sees the legs remain flush to the corners. With external systems capable of working seamlessly with our own, Milwood Group did not supply the Angled Glass Side Infill Top Frame Panels for this project.
Both systems are finished in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey, however the Sim 16 walkway uses our Clear Polycarbonate Roof Panels with the Sim 6 veranda using 6mm Clear Glass Roof Panels these installations create a seamlessly complementary addition to the modern home.
