Alfresco Canopies, part of our unique Trade Partner program since 2018, recently received a global award following tremendous success using our range of aluminium products.

The team at Alfresco Canopies are responsible for hundreds of successful installations as a dedicated installer of our veranda, canopy, and carport systems. We’d like to share a recent case study to highlight the level of work we have completed recently together.
A recent project in York is a superb example of how a Milwood Group veranda system can truly complement a domestic home and garden space. Upon consultation with the homeowner, Alfresco Canopies were tasked with supplying a canopy that would go with their new porcelain patio. The system required a contemporary look that wouldn’t clash with the aesthetic of the new patio floor.
This Simplicity 6 veranda installation was able to meet the customers specification due to the versatility of our aluminium designs. The Alfresco team were able to supply the required projection of 3.2m as standard, meaning the customer only had to pay for what they needed as opposed to other manufacturers who could only supply in 4m lengths as standard. The install also spanned a huge 9 metres wide space providing ample sheltered space over the new patio.
The veranda system is wall-mounted to the home with the standing legs surface-mounted into the brickwork surrounding the edge of the patio using cleats. The 6mm Clear Toughened Glass will provide additional support while keeping the patio space largely clear of debris such as leaves and other remnants from the nearby garden tree.
Finished in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey, the Sim 6 provides a truly complementary addition to the new porcelain patio and the garden space as a whole. The modern contemporary design seamlessly integrates into the home while providing additional value to the property in the process. The homeowners are extremely pleased with the outcome.
