Can you believe it is already April? Where has the time gone? We’ve seen so much new business so far in 2021 that the days and weeks are just flying by where we’re all so busy.

This is, of course, great news for us all and the very busy spring looks to be setting us up for a record-breaking summer in the outdoors living market. As the sun starts to come out more often, we’re expecting orders to skyrocket even further as homeowners around the UK look to capitalise on their outside spaces.

We would like to confirm that it is business as usual for the Milwood Group. All orders once processed will be scheduled for delivery as normal. Due to the current restrictions, however, we can only have ONE person per vehicle so your delivery would need to be arranged as an Assisted Delivery. This means, subject to your customers acceptance, you would need to ensure somebody is at the delivery destination to help off-load while maintaining appropriate social distancing.

57% Increase in Order in Takes Compared to Last Year!



Here at Milwood, the growth we have experienced has been fantastic. Even in this difficult time our outdoors living market is thriving which is amazing news for us all.

Our Data Analysis Reflection has indicated phenomenal results; in the time frame of January to March 2020 to January to March 2021 there has been an order intake increase of 57% evidently showing this market has huge profitable potential.

As you will all be aware, we have seen significant increases in the cost of raw materials over the past few months, and the forecast is that these costs are set to continue to rise! We are pleased to reassure you, though, that we are able to maintain our prices.

The materials used to manufacture our products are worldwide commodities and we have no influence over these base prices. The increases are as follows;

• Aluminium +27%
• Glass +8%
• Poly +10%

*Increase we have seen in the last 3 months.



We will continue to monitor the situation carefully and absorb as much as we can prior to being forced to increase our prices. Our current prices will remain unchanged until the 1st May when we will review the position again.

Installing a demonstration Simplicity 6 veranda to the outside of their building, Samson have also produced and fitted a striking large billboard outlining a key selection of the products they can sell and install, including verandas, carports, and our glass rooms.

Created using the unbranded/white-label marketing material we provide our trade partners, including design layouts and photographs of installations, Samson have created the perfect marketing tool for their prospective buyers. The use of a demonstration veranda is a great idea and one we encourage our Trade Partners to take up when they can, as nothing sells the systems better than the systems themselves!

Let’s talk about the Veranda of the Week! Our very productive and highly skilled Trade Partner in Wales, Canopy Pro Ltd, has yet again delivered the goods with this fantastic Simplicity 6 installation!

Robin and his team at Canopy Pro recently installed this Simplicity 6 veranda to the rear of a modern family home in St Ilids Meadow in South Wales, providing the homeowner with a luxury outdoor seating area, one of the smartest we have ever seen! This installation has been bespoke designed to compliment the garden features and looks great alongside the sliding doors of the house.

With our standard RAL colour of 7016 Anthracite Grey Semi-Gloss, this install delivers a modern and minimalistic effect, fitting nicely into the colour scheme of the garden furniture. In addition to this, the installation has our popular upgrade of 6mm Grey Tinted Glass in the roof panels, which provides the perfect shaded area for the homeowners.

Canopy Pro Ltd are one of our well-established trade partners and they have years of experience in performing flawless installations of our products across Wales. It’s always a pleasure working with them and we always look forward to seeing the end result!

We are delighted to share Project Installation Photo debut from Zenith Canopy Structures Limited!

Zenith Canopy Structures are a very busy Trade Partner of ours, working non-stop on installing Milwood Group systems in their area. The Zenith team have provided us with a beauty as their first portfolio report, this installation is all about Outdoor Living.

This Simplicity 6 veranda is attached to the rear of the house on a lovely patio deck area. Finished in our RAL 9016 White Semi-Gloss, this veranda is a great match with the double-glazed windows and doors, making this home look very snazzy.

With the addition of bronze-tinted 6mm glass in the roof the family can enjoy their garden any day of the year, rain or shine. The veranda has a large 5 metre length and 3 metre projection, giving a good-sized footprint where garden furniture is protected from the elements.

The New RGBW Lighting System for the simplicity 6 is now available via the Trade Partner Area.
