In January 2022, Milwood Group moved premises to our new 65,000 sq. ft. warehouse along with our sister company AliDeck, in order to upscale our warehouse and production facilities. Following years of growth and supporting an increasing number of Trade Partners across the UK & Ireland, it was important for us to be able to continue this by increasing both our storage and production capabilities.

The crown jewel of our new facility is the seven-stage pre-treatment powder-coating facility that has allowed us to take our entire production process in-house. This has revolutionised the way in which we have been able to support our Trade Partners by reducing lead times and allowing us to take full control of the creation of our systems.

On top of this, our new warehouse is capable of storing over 1500 tonnes of extruded aluminium products, far greater than our previous facility. The future remains bright as aluminium continues to prove itself as the new de facto standard across many sectors within the construction industry. Due to the low density and malleable extrusion capabilities, we are able to create highly versatile outdoors living systems systems to meet any project specification.

Moving our team the short distance across Rochester to the Medway City Estate, we have also been able to introduce a showroom and training facility to help support our Trade Partners with in-depth knowledge and technical support.

We invite all existing and potential Trade Partners to join us for a day with us here at our facilities, in which we’ll be able to enhance our partnership in the future. The day will include a free lunch, installation and product training, a chance to dive into our Trade Partner area, a tour of our facilities, and a chance to discuss future project collaboration.
